AIM
The foundation supports global sustainable development goals. Our being must serve a purpose larger than any self-interest. Therefore, we aim at spreading awareness to co-exist in harmony with nature.
VISION
La Global Foundation has built a sustainable awareness model in place in order to achieve the 17 global goals. In 2015, the United Nations Sustainable Goals (Global Goals) were adopted by the 193 Member States of the United Nations in a bid to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all by 2030. It is remarkable though, that the Indian government has taken up the task seriously and has started working alongside private sectors to end poverty at the earliest.
MISSION
We at La Global Foundation empower ourselves so that we engage and foster synergistic efforts. We make certain of the well-being of individuals and various astute people to promote and provide insights about one’s happiness and security. Sustainable development is a framework which is such designed that human development goals can be achieved without disturbing the ecosystem. We at La Global Foundation pledge to preserve natural resources in the best of our capacity. In order to achieve the same, we form partnerships all over the world.

Objectives
The event is to support global sustainable development goals. You must look forward to see myriad hues of nationals present on the podium to express their views on conserving our natural resources while accomplishing urban development goals. We collaborate with recognised organisations to spread awareness through education and training. We believe in a “Human Build System Space” in which people live and work on a day-to-day basis. Our foundation learns and unlearns as the world around us evolves. As a result, we are an updated, world class foundation with the best know- how of sustainability tools. Achieving the SDGs will create a world that is more sustainable, prosperous and equitable. In order to get there, strategies should be made not only to deliver financial results but also to deliver positive social outcomes. Also, SDGs benefit business. Companies that adhere to SDGs are more likely to perform overseas rather than companies who do not think of sustainability at all. The global goals offer a tangible opportunity to businesses to increase their profits while working towards the greater good. A holistic diagnosis attempts to identify the various strategies people use to make a living and how they cope with stress. These are also referred to as adaptive and coping strategies in the food security literature. To tailor interventions appropriately, it is important to determine the variability that may exist across ethnic groups, households and individuals in the pursuit of different strategies.Outcomes are measured to determine how successful households are in their livelihood strategies. These outcomes can be based on normative standards (e.g. nutritional status) or on criteria identified by the communities. Such outcome measures need to be differentiated and disaggregated across groups, households and individuals.
There are 3 primary objectives of sustainable development
Economic growth – building a strong, competitive economy, by ensuring that sufficient land of the right type is available in the right places and at the right time to support growth and innovation; and identifying then coordinating development requirements.
Environmental protection – contributing to protecting and enhancing our natural and developed environment, while helping to improve biodiversity, use natural resources wisely, minimizing waste and pollution, and adapting to and helping to decrease climate change, including a global shift to low-carbon economy.
Social inclusion – supporting strong, vibrant and healthy communities by providing the supply of housing required to meet the needs of present and future generations; and by creating a high-quality of development, with accessible local services that reflect the community’s needs and support its health, social and cultural well-being.
The Global UN SDG Awards Season 2 Event will be held at Hakeem Abdul Hameed Auditorium, Hamdard Nagar On 14th - 15th May, 2022.
TOPICS:
- Governance of the SDG- A big issue for government will be how to align policies given the complexity of the goals and the need to include an unprecedented range of public and private parties in policy creation and implementation. Therefore, cost cutting initiatives need to be taken , improvising governance procedures.
- Food insecurity is a pressing matter in both urban and rural areas of developing countries. We will discuss how territorial adjustments can be made in order to secure basic food to all citizens.
- Understanding climate action- Climate change is now affecting every country on every continent. It is disrupting national economies and affecting lives, costing people, communities and countries dearly today and even more tomorrow. People are experiencing the significant impacts of climate change, which include changing weather patterns, rising sea level, and more extreme weather events. The greenhouse gas emissions from human activities are driving climate change and continue to rise. They are now at their highest levels in history. Without action, the world’s average surface temperature is projected to rise over the 21st century and is likely to surpass 3 degrees Celsius this century—with some areas of the world expected to warm even more. The poorest and most vulnerable people are being affected the most.
- Our motto at La Global Foundation is to create a better tomorrow. In the tryst to make a difference, we would like to join hands with global partners. Come, let us pledge together to meet development goals and at the same time be responsible for our impeccable natural reservoirs.
